I’m Aneta Tarmokas, freelance illustrator from Valencia, Spain and one of the things I hate the most is writing about myself. 

I am happy when it rains and I can’t sleep with socks on.

The tiniest flowers catch my eye, and when I cook while looking at a recipe I can’t help skipping a few steps. 

I have not yet learned to distinguish right from left, my memory does not retain figures and I visualize time in the shape of a staircase.

Before devoting myself completely to illustration, I worked as a prop designer and set designer in the audiovisual industry (film and advertising).

I make illustrations for books, design prints and paint murals. In my processes I mix manual techniques with digital tools. 

Nature, food and music are the things that inspire me the most and make up my creative universe.

Sometimes I give workshops of graphic experimentation with manual printing techniques.
