Feeding someone is one of the greatest forms of care and affection that exists. Feeding someone goes beyond preparing a recipe and cooking it. Feeding encompasses a whole series of preliminary processes that, throughout history, have been passed down from generation to generation.
This book, like the previous one by Casimir Romero and Aneta Tarmokas, Cuina nostra, is not a recipe book, although it does include recipes. It is a book in which you will find culture, ethnography, memory, identity and warmth.
Cuina, paisatge i caliu, is seasoned with countless photographs full of beautiful memories and illustrated by the delicate, patient and careful work of Aneta Tarmokas. In addition, we wanted to add the words of a large number of contributors, as the kitchen has never been a place of a single voice, and therefore this book, like kitchens that are alive, is also a choral book.
